  • Cox Urban Furniture’s trademark attention to detail can be seen in this simple, streamlined series of park furniture. It’s engineered tough, making it ideal for use in the harshest locations, and priced to provide a quality option for budget-conscious clients. Strong, corrosion-resistant, powder coated aluminium frames, stainless steel fasteners and a choice of batten materials make the Parkline Range a sturdy, low-maintenance outdoor furniture solution that looks good too!

Parkline currently offers a selection of seats, platforms and table/bench combinations (including wheelchair accessible options), and bin enclosures for 120 litre and 240 litre wheeled litterbins. ‘Freestanding’ combined-table-and-bench options allow for easy movement to different locations. Or separate tables and benches can be bolt-fixed to a pre-poured slab or sub-surface footing.

    BATTEN MATERIAL OPTIONS
Clients can choose from three batten material options:

    options

    • Hardwood timber finished with 3 coats of Intergrain Natural stain ‘Jarrah’
    • Aluminium extrusion with clear-anodised finish and cast aluminium end-caps.
    • Recycled HDPE plastic with glass reinforcing.

Not a wood-fibre composite, this extruded material is manufactured from a purified blend of recycled and virgin HDPE (milk bottle plastic) reinforced with glass-fibre for added strength and rigidity. The resultant engineered batten is strong, attractive and essentially maintenance free, with high impact resistance and excellent retention of surface finish and colour. It never needs sealing, painting or staining, and unlike some other batten materials on the market it won’t split or absorb moisture and is simple to clean and repair if soiled, graffitied or scratched. This material will change the way you think about recycled plastic.

Christie Parksafe. began business as an Electrical Engineering and Contracting company operating on the Mornington Peninsula area of Victoria, Australia. In the early 1970’s they perceived the need for easy access to outdoor entertaining and conceived the idea of producing fixed electrical public cooking facilities in attractive environmental outdoor settings for public use. In 1974 they began selling these products to Municipal Councils throughout Australia; with the most prominent being the highly successful number along Alexandra Avenue on the bank of the Yarra River in Melbourne. In addition there are in excess of 500 units on Queensland’s Gold Coast and 500 units in Australia’s Capital, Canberra.:
